Too bad. SUMMARY: A moment of reflection. Written for Haven Camp's 155 Words of Quoting challenge. Thanks, Tali, for the speed-beta! Thanks also to Counselor Mish! *** He had his back to her, so she was free to stare at him. To stare at the tautness of his shoulders, the smooth skin of his back as it curved down to his hips and rear. She loved to watch him walk ahead of her, watching the muscles in his ass flex as he strode with long legs. She also loved the feeling of that firm ass beneath her hands when she pushed him deeper inside her. Her fingers still tingled with his heat. She could reach for him again, but right now she was content to watch him sleep. Something she'd read this morning drifted into her thoughts as she listened to his soft, even breathing. "The truth is rarely pure and never simple." He was far from simple, but he was her truth and there was nothing purer. She smiled to herself and curled up against his sleeping warmth.
